eTourism is excited to announce that we will shortly have an integration with Tripadvisor’s Tripconnect system which gives you the ability to show your property’s booking engine in the price and availability search on your Tripadvisor listing.
Until recently Tripadvisor would display pricing and availability search capabilities for your 3rd party channel partners such as Expedia, Booking.com etc….
With this change eTourism Online will be able to be shown as your official direct booking engine and you will be able to purchase Cost-Per-Click bids to appear in the price and availability search box.
When the user searches from this listing, they will be taken to your direct booking engine search results page. Your bid represents how much you’re willing to pay for this qualified lead. You will only be charged if a traveller clicks your link. Similarly to Google adwords, the price of your bid will be relative to the other bids, hence determining where you will appear in the search box. If you appear in the top 3 bids, your listing will have an ‘Official Site’ icon appear next to it.
Please note all costs are charged directly to you by Tripadvisor, eTourism will not charge for this service.
